I study the theme of gaze through photography, moving image, and installation art from an artistic-theoretical point of view.

As a photographer, I am interested in which kinds of gazes and ways of looking are generated by the finished images. These ways of looking are partly the result of the direct or indirect glances exchanged between the photographer and the subject during the work process.

How could the conventions of gaze be dismantled? How could we look differently?

My current work draws on the feminist theories of image research and reflects a gendered look, and explores the possibility of equal and mutual gaze.
